Oscar caught in the Everglades.
These fish would change color after you took them out of the water. Sharp spines and tooth too. They dominated the catch for the most part. Just getting caught up with the uploads since I did not have my log in for a while.

Odd fish get caught in the Northern States too. Down in Florida Oscars have overtaken many areas that used to be sunfish and really sad. They are voracious!

In the St Croix that I live near there were 2 or 3 redtailed catfish form the amazon caught. I am sure they got too big and someone released them. At least one ended up being eaten by a family that caught one. They were a couple pounds I heard.

I'll be adding more fish as time goes. I don't get out as much as I used to but I try to catch some cool fish.

That's awesome. There were 2 oscars in a local lake here in jersey a couple years ago. Prob from someones fish tank. I guess they're dead now. Doubt they survived the winters
