11.0" Chain Pickerel caught by Dennis Huskins fishing on Thursday September 28, 2017 at 14:23 near Chester in Morris County, New Jersey (NJ), United States North America using a Aglia #4 no tail a In-Line Spinner by Mepps

Went out for the afternoon and got maybe 8 hits. They have gotten smart. 4 hook ups and lost a big 20"er at the shore. Testing rods of course. BUT, This about the little small one I did catch. This little guy had a rotted, rusted, old crankbait in his lip and molded braid wrapped about his face, teeth and gills. It had to have been there a year. Yet he was able to feed and get by just barely. After the removal of it all he swam off a happy camper. This has never ever happened to me before in 55 years of fishing.

I've had similar thing happen with just a rusty Shaky Head instead of Crankbait , I've seen a SmallMouth with a Crankbait stuck to the side of it's body getting ready for the Spawn , didn't seem to affect the fish , but You Definitely extended that Fish's Life Span , That Fish Owes you a Beer!..lol
