28.0" Common Carp caught by Brian Shea fishing on Sunday April 30, 2017 at 15:33

I went back to spot where I did good the other day. I wasn't disappointed. I got 4 LMB, a 24" channel cat, yellow perch, white perch, sunnies and went 2/4 on nice carp. I landed a 28" carp on 4 lb line and an ultra light rod. It burned out my drag so I had to back reel to feed out line.

They're a different species than suckers. They are not good eating.

That looks like what we used to call "suckers" in the C&O canal. They told me they weren't good eatin.

Do you know whether it is the same kind of fish?

A jig with either gulp or half nightcrawler. Bounce it along the rocks just fast enough to keep up with the current
