This is a first time fish for me. I don't know what it is. Looked it up it's either a Golden Shiner or a Dace. Caught them in a med-fast current stream. I caught 2 of these. I finished the day with estimate maybe 18 Bluegill's, 1 crappie and 2 of these guys. All caught on the #10 Bumble Bee. Sadly I did hook something big pulled drag for 5seconds and dam he just spit the hook.

Shiner for sure. Guides in Florida use shiners that big for bass.

100% sure that it is a golden shiner. They are a cool micro fish that gets pretty large compared to what we are used to seeing as minnows.

Joe, I love using my Fly Rod, I've used it more than spinning gear this year and I just started in December I just can't put it down. Was it hard? I would see yea mostly when you never use one it took me a while to get it down but practice makes perfect. Where I fish at there's a lot wooden area's so using a 7'9'' fly rod in a very tight spot it hard that's when the roll cast comes in handy...Dennis at first glance I thought he was a white perch seeing the silverish color, What ever it is they are cool looking fish.

I have caught this same fish 3 times. All 3 times it was foul hooked on a spinner. When all had their look see and comments at the end it was 1) a grown up shinner that had been let loose as a bait fish 2) a Moon eye.
Mine had come up a small river that connected to the delaware and were below a dam they wanted to get past.

I have a golden shiner on my report. You can check it to compare. Similar but no the same coloring. Always fun catching something different.
