Caught suspended in heavy structure using 20lb. Silver Thread & a heavy action Shimano rod.
The spinnerbait skirt was 'living rubber'. I replaced the cheap skirt that came with the spinnerbait.
Biggest Bass I ever caught in Jersey.
Witness: Robert Smalley Jr., Owner of S&B Sportsman Shop, Retired. He weighed the fish for me & we released it to the next skilled angler.
The body of water was in East Brunswick (Dalenbach's Pond). There are 3 small lakes/ponds that are all connected. I know of another bass that was pulled out of the other end (8 lbs.). That one wasn't released.

Thanks Tom.. If it's still there, then it could be a NJ state record by now. It was a small pond, and the fish was buried in 25' os structure. Posted by Chris DeMartine

Another nice catch! You are going to have to give a clinic on fishing in New Jersey. By the way, what exit? Posted by Joe Pych

Getting close to the NJ record. We need a new one look for a 10.4 pound bass in the next year.
